		<description>There is a plugin for wordpress that is called the Smart Update Pinger.  It automatically knows if you are editing or publishing the article and it won&#039;t send out pings on the edit.  

It is a good one to add to your list of plugins.  You don&#039;t want Google slamming the doors on you.</description>

The article was awesome too.  I hope the lady you mentioned gets things going again.  She has my deepest sympathy.  

My biggest fear is I will do something inadvertantly that the goo will find objectionable and I will get slammed in the dungeon and not even know why.  

For example, I go thru my articles sometimes after they are published and I make small corrections.   I do not turn the pinger off when I do this. So is google interpreting my neurotic obsession as nefarious black hat manipulation?  Probably.  Has not yet been a problem, but stuff like that does concern me.</description>
